The origins of the current mares are: Escalera, Yeguada Militar and Bocado. The mares of this livestock are pasturing free in the heart of the Amblés Valley, near to the city of Avila, located to 1.200 metres over the the sea level and sharing its grasses with the autochtonous cows. |
